The rooms at Hotel Abdij De Westerburcht are so cozy and comfortable, with quality beds that make you never want to leave. I loved that some rooms had a seating area, perfect for relaxing after a tiring day of exploring. The large queen-size bed in some rooms was a dream, and the luxury bathroom with a jacuzzi and private shower made it feel like a total pampering experience. The uniquely themed rooms were a nice touch, and having free Wi-Fi was a great bonus. The modern bathrooms with free toiletries made me feel like I was staying in a fancy hotel.
Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the Samsung "Curved" television with the Netflix app.

I had a great value for my money at this hotel. The room was lovely, clean, and spacious with a comfortable bed. The location was perfect for my needs, close to the TT circuit. The staff were excellent and always went above and beyond to assist me.
One small improvement for the breakfast option could be the addition of Kleenex type swipes for guests.

Located in between two national parks in the Drenthe area, the restaurant at this hotel offers a variety of well-prepared meals. The three-course dinners available are creative and not too small in size, ensuring customers are satisfied. the breakfast is good quality and the staff are pleasant and attentive.
Some of the rooms may be tired and worn, especially the bathrooms, as well as some of the towels.

I chose this hotel for attending a conference as it provides 3 meeting rooms for events. The staff was helpful and the meeting rooms were adequate for our needs.
The unreliable WIFI in our bedroom, which made it difficult to stay connected and work efficiently during our stay.

Spent New Year in a charming hotel and it was a delightful experience. The location is idyllic, nestled in beautiful countryside and close to quaint local shops. The staff was friendly and helpful making us feel very welcome. The room was cozy and clean with a lovely view of the countryside. We enjoyed a delicious meal and a wide selection of drinks at the hotel's restaurant and bar.
The room was a tad smaller than we expected and lacked basic amenities. we were unable to fully enjoy the amenities due to the colder weather which limited our access to some of the outdoor features.

clean and comfortable room. great location for exploring Drenthe. discovered nice local restaurants and shops nearby. staff very friendly and receptionist super helpful. loved the upgrade to a better room. the breakfast had lots of good choices - especially the fruits. they even had a secure place to store my bicycle.
Would be happy to recommend.

Best Christmas hotel experience in a picturesque village. The wellness center and restaurant deserve a special mention, as they are impressive. The location is convenient, with great views and easy access to the town. the staff was excellent, very friendly, and with an eye for detail.
The rooms could use a bit of an upgrade as they appear to be a bit outdated. the parking lot can be crowded during peak hours, but it doesn't take long to find a spot.

The hotel had a charming and cozy atmosphere, decorated with beautiful traditional Dutch touches. The comfortable seating areas and inviting ambiance made it perfect for senior people to relax and enjoy their stay. The hotel was also conveniently accessible for senior guests, with spacious hallways and elevators that made it easy to move around without any difficulties.
It would have been even better if there were more activities or programs specifically tailored for senior guests. It would have been nice to have some organized activities or tours that catered to the needs and interests of older travelers.

Amazing restaurant, great variety of beers, beautiful terrace, and plenty of cycling and hiking routes. I particularly enjoyed the walks in Drenthe, although I did get lost a couple of times.
Getting lost is always so much fun, isn't it?
